How the rev-share works
When someone subscribes to Pro ($20/mo) or Pro+ ($100/mo) using your referral link, you earn 50% of every invoice they pay — month after month. If they upgrade from Pro to Pro+, your earnings scale up automatically. If they downgrade, earnings scale down to match their actual paid amount.

Where to find your referral code
Sign in, then go to your dashboard.
Your referral code appears at the top of the dashboard — it looks like
ref_abc123.

When a user signs up via your referral link, a 30-day cookie stores your code. If they
subscribe before the cookie expires, every Stripe invoice they generate is tagged with your
referrer_id. You can see the tagged
invoices and running balance in your dashboard under Earnings.
Attribution is last-click: if a user clicks two referral links, the most recent one wins. Attribution resets if the cookie expires (30 days) before they subscribe.
Payout schedule
- Monthly on the 15th — earnings from the prior calendar month are paid out on the 15th of the following month.
- $25 minimum — if your balance is below $25, earnings roll over to the next payout cycle.
- Stripe Connect Express — connect your bank once from the dashboard; payouts land directly in your account. Stripe handles currency conversion and tax forms (1099 in the US, where applicable).
FAQ
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referral is detected and disqualified automatically. The referrer and subscriber accounts must be different people with different payment methods.
What happens if the customer downgrades?
Earnings scale with their actual paid amount. If a Pro+ referral downgrades to Pro, your monthly earning on that referral drops from $50 to $10 starting the next billing cycle. Upgrades work in reverse — earnings go up immediately.
What about refunds?
If a referred customer receives a refund, the corresponding commission is clawed back from your next payout. If your balance goes negative, it carries forward and offsets future earnings — you are never charged out-of-pocket.
Can I share via affiliate networks?
Yes. You can paste your referral link anywhere — affiliate networks, newsletters, Twitter/X, Discord, YouTube descriptions. As long as the user clicks your link and subscribes within 30 days, attribution is yours.
When do I get paid?
Monthly on the 15th, with a $25 minimum balance. Connect Stripe Express from your dashboard and the first payout lands within 1–3 business days of the 15th. If you haven't connected Stripe, earnings accumulate until you do.
